What is the cost of purchasing a franchise?

The cost of purchasing a franchise for the geographical area covering by a single Primary Care Trust is £600. This covers the cost of training for one person who will then become the National Clean Air Award Co-ordinator for that area and whose role will be to promote the scheme within their locale and if appropriate to train others to do the same.

For Tobacco Alliances or bodies which represent a group of Primary Care Trusts the cost of purchasing a franchise will be discounted to £500 per PCT represented. Training will be provided to a single representative of each PCT.
